UNNECESSARY FILINGS: The judges have asked us to look at ways to reduce unnecessary filings. Effective, November 19, 2011, the civil Notice to Take Deposition event will be disabled. If you attempt to use this event, you will receive the following message: Notices to take Deposition are not required to be filed and should not be filed. This event has been disabled. Abort now! If you use the generic Notice event, you will receive the following message: Do not use this event to file a Notice to take Deposition or a Notice of Intent to Serve Subpoena. Such notices are not required to be filed and should not be filed. If you use the Certificate of Service event, you will receive the following message: If the document to which the Certificate of Service relates is not required to be filed, abort! See Fed. R. Civ. P. 5(d) and Civil LR 5.1(B)(3) and Civil LR 26.1.

ATTORNEY ADMISSION FEE: Effective January 1, 2012, the attorney admission fee will be raised from $200 to $250. The pro hac vice fee remains unchanged at $100.
